Junior Etou (ex Fos-sur-Mer) agreed terms with Czarni

Junior Etou

Energa Icon Sea Czarni Slupsk (OBL) added 31-year old DR Congolese 203cm forward Junior Etou (college: Tulsa) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. He most recently played at FOS Provence Basket in French ProB, averaging 7.9ppg and 3.5rpg in 28 games last season. In the 2023-24 season, he played at SIG Strasbourg in the French league, averaging 2.7ppg and 1.8rpg in 12 games. He also briefly played at Hapoel Haifa in the Israeli league.
Etou is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Italy (Brindisi), Spain (Estudiantes), and Turkey (Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol).
His college team reached the final of the French ProB Leaders Cup in 2021.
Etou graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2018, and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. He also played for Rutgers University for 2 years.
