Fos-sur-Mer lands Christian Eyenga

FOS Provence Basket (ProB) tabbed experienced 35-year old DR Congolese ex-international 198cm small forward Christian Eyenga. He started the season at Pau-Lacq-Orthez. In four ProB games in France he averaged 8.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3bpg. The last season summer he played at Lobos Plateados de la BUAP (LNBP) in Mexican league. He also played for Gaiteros de Zulia (SPB) in Venezuelan league.
In 2009 he was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) in first round (30th overall).
Eyenga also represented DR Congo at the African Championship in Angola eighteen years ago.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on five different continents. Eyenga is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously in China (Loongs), Italy (Sassari), Mexico, Poland (Zastal and PGE Turow), Spain (Joventut, Unicaja, Fuenlabrada, Prat and Joventut), Venezuela, NBA (LA Lakers), NBA G League (Texas Legends and Cleveland Charge) and DR Congo (B.C.Onatra Kinshasa).
His team made it to the Spanish Liga Endesa Supercup Final Four in 2020.
Eyenga is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Fos-sur-Mer.
