Herve Kabasele is a newcomer at Melilla

Herve Kabasele

Melilla Ciudad del Deporte (Segunda FEB) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old DR Congolese ex-international center Herve Kabasele (208cm-1996). He started the season at Cantabria in the Primera FEB. In 8 games he recorded just 2.0ppg and 1.9rpg. Segunda FEB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He also represented DR Congo at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers two years ago. During this event he scored an average of 2.2 points per game and had 2 rebounds per game.
Kabasele has played previously in Spain (Breogan Lugo, Valladolid, Real Canoe and Oviedo) and NBA G League (Erie BH).
Among many awards his team made it to the LEB Oro Play-Off Semifinals in 2023. He was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Afrobasket Championship Honorable Mention back in 2017.
