Castello welcomes back Okouo

Viny Okouo

Amics Castello (Primera FEB) signed 27-year-old DR Congolese 214cm center Viny Okouo for the upcoming season. This marks his return to Castellon, where he previously played. Okouo most recently played for Gaiteros in the Venezuelan SPB league, averaging 7.7ppg and 6.6rpg in 21 games last season. He was named League Player of the Week during that time. Prior to that, he played for Amics Castello in the LEB Gold league and Kedainiu Nevezis-Optibet in the Lithuanian LKL.
Okouo has played ppg for six other Spain teams: Unicaja, Monbus Obradoiro, Fuenlabrada, Unicaja-Andalucia, Gipuzkoa, and Clinicas Rincon.
His team reached the Spanish Liga Endesa Semifinals in 2017.
