KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo lands Christian Lutete

Christian Lutete

KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo (Division I) tabbed 27-year old Congolese-DR Congolese international 196cm guard Christian Lutete (college: UMass Lowell) for new season. Lutete played most recently at Hermine Nantes Atlantique in French ProB. In 34 games he averaged 14.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.2apg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at ALM Evreux (also in ProB) where in 22 games he had very impressive stats: 16.9ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.2apg in that year. He has been regularly called to Congolese Senior National Team since 2022.
Lutete is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Finland (Kobrat), Kosovo (Bashkimi), Romania (Sibiu) and The Basketball Tournament (Fort Wayne Champs).
His team made it to the Big South Conference Tournament Semifinals in 2017.
Lutete graduated from University of Massachusetts - Lowell in 2020 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. He played also for Radford University for 2 years.
