Cantabria sign Garmine Kande

Grupo Alega Cantabria Torrelavega (LEB Gold) has signed 24-year-old DR Congolese international 205cm power forward Garmine Kande for the upcoming season. Kande, who is represented by Helping Ballers agency, is the second import player on the team, joining Portuguese Vladyslav Voytso. He spent the last three years playing for Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos, where he averaged 3.7ppg and 2.3rpg in 36 LEB Gold games last season, helping the team reach the semifinals.
He has been a member of the DR Congolese international program for some years. Kande has been regularly called to the DR Congolese senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2016.
He has played previously professionally in France (Aix Maurienne and Aix Maurienne) and France.
Kande's team won the Spanish LEB Plata Cup in 2023.
