Florent Thamba is a newcomer at Blois

ADA Blois Basket 41 (Betclic ELITE ProA) bolstered their roster by adding 25-year-old DR Congolese power forward Florent Thamba (208cm-111kg-1999, college: Baylor) for the 2024-25 season. Thamba, who played for Heroes in the Venezuelan SPB league last season, averaged 6.0ppg, 5.2rpg, and 1.0apg in 18 games.
He has played professionally in Sweden (Jamtland) before. Thamba was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan Honorable Mention in 2024.
He won the NCAA championship title in 2021.
Thamba graduated from Baylor University in 2023, and it'll be his second season as a pro player.
