Lombahe-Kahudi re-signs at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket

Charles Lombahe-Kahudi

LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) confirmed experienced 37-year-old French-DR Congolese small forward Charles Lombahe-Kahudi (196cm-1986) in their roster for the new 2024-25 season. He has been with the team for the past nine seasons and played a key role in helping them reach the semifinals. Lombahe-Kahudi appeared in 29 games in Euroleague, averaging 3.9ppg and 2.9rpg last season.
He was also a member of the French international program for some years. Lombahe-Kahudi played for French Senior National Team between 2010 and 2018 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2006.
He also represented France at the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers five years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 7.8 ppg and had 5.3 rpg.
Lombahe-Kahudi has spent his entire career in France playing for four other teams: Cholet Basket, JDA Dijon, Le Mans, and ALM Evreux.
He has won several awards, including Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Defensive Player of the Year in 2016. He is currently nearing retirement age as a player, and there is a strong chance he will finish his career at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket.
