Telenet Giants Antwerp (PBL) have signed Kevin Tumba for the next 3 seasons. He played for RSW Liege Basket last season. Tumba played in three leagues last year, gaining experience at different levels. In 6 PBL games, he averaged 5.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.0spg, helping his team reach the semifinals. He also played 29 games in BNXT League, averaging 7.9ppg, 9.9rpg, 1.3apg, 1.2spg, and 1.5bpg. In addition, he contributed to 11 games in European North Basketball League with averages of 6.9ppg, 8.7rpg, 1.3apg, 1.2spg, and 1.5bpg. Tumba was named Eurobasket.com All-European North Basketball League Center of the Year and made the All-European North Basketball League First Team. In the previous (2023) summer, he played for Athletics Miami in The Basketball Tournament.
Tumba has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He has also been a member of the Belgian international program for some years. Tumba has regularly played for the Belgian senior team since 2014 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2011.
He also represented Belgium at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 2.5 ppg and had 4 rpg.
Tumba is quite an experienced player. He has played professionally in France (Provence Basket), Greece (Kolossos H Hotels Rodou and Ionikos), Spain (Murcia), and Belgium (Spirou Charleroi, Leuven Bears, Belfius Mons Hainaut, Circus Brussels, and Belfius Mons Hainaut II).
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Belgian League in 2016.
