Fos-sur-Mer signs Junior Etou

Junior Etou

FOS Provence Basket (ProB) signed 29-year old DR Congolese forward Junior Etou (203cm-109kg-1994, college: Tulsa). He just played at SIG Strasbourg in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 12 games he had only 2.7ppg and 1.8rpg this season. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 3.2ppg and 1.6rpg. The other team he played shortly was Hapoel Shoval Haifa (Winner League) in Israeli league.
He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Italy (Brindisi), Spain (Estudiantes), Turkey (Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol), and France (Cholet Basket and Quimper UJAP).
His college team reached the French ProB Leaders Cup final in 2021.
He graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2018 and is in his sixth season as a professional player. He also played for Rutgers University for 2 years.
