Piratas de Quebradillas (BSN) have signed Emmanuel Mudiay, a 27-year-old guard from the DR Congo. Mudiay, who stands at 196cm, previously played for Cangrejeros de Santurce last summer. In his 10 games in the Puerto Rico BSN league, he had impressive stats, averaging 21.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. Last season, he played for the Wolves in the NBA G League.
In 2015, he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the first round, 7th overall, in the NBA. He also represented the DR Congolese Senior National Team in 2017.
He's a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout his professional career, playing in four different countries across three continents. He has played professionally in China for the Guandong Tigers, Lithuania for Zalgiris, and in the NBA for the Utah Jazz, NY Knicks, and Sacramento Kings. He has also participated in the NBA Summer League with the Portland Trail Blazers.
His team won the Chinese CBA Regular Season in 2015.
