Bismack Biyombo

The Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) have signed Bismack Biyombo, a 31-year-old center from the DR Congo. Biyombo previously played for the Phoenix Suns and averaged 4.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game in 69 NBA games last season. He also contributed to the Suns' success in reaching the conference semifinals.
In 2011, he was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the first round, 7th overall.
He's a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout his professional career, playing in four different countries across three continents. He has previously played professionally in Spain for teams such as Fuenlabrada, Viten Getafe Fuenlabrada Madrid, and Illescas. He has also had stints with NBA teams including the Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors, and Charlotte Hornets. Additionally, he has played in Spain and Yemen for Al Tilal.
He won the NBA Pacific Division championship title in 2022.
