H.Haifa sign Junior Etou

Hapoel B Cure Lazxr Haifa (Winner League) landed 29-year old Congolese 201cm forward Junior Etou (college: Tulsa) for new season. Etou is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Marcus Bingham Jr. signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Happy Casa Brindisi in Italian Serie A. In 11 games he averaged 6.7ppg and 3.9rpg last season. He also played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 6.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.2apg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Hapoel Beer Sheva in Israeli Winner League. In 23 games he recorded 13.3ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.1apg in that year.
He is a very experienced player. Etou has played also professionally in France (Cholet Basket and Quimper UJAP), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Spain (Estudiantes) and Turkey (Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol).
He graduated from University of Tulsa in 2018 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. Etou played also for Rutgers University for 2 years.
