Rio Breogan inks Jonathan Kasibabu

Leche Rio Breogan Lugo (Liga Endesa) signed 26-year old Congolese international forward Jonathan Kasibabu (203cm-109kg-1996, college: Fairfield) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Kasibabu played last season at Hermine Nantes Atlantique in French ProB. In 33 games he had 8.0ppg and 5.2rpg.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Toros in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 7 games he recorded 6.3ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.9apg in that year.
Last year (two years after his graduation) he was drafted by Austin Spurs (G-League) in first round (14th overall).
The former Fairfield University standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball. He has been regularly called to Congolese Senior National Team since 2018.
Kasibabu has played also professionally in NBA G League (Long Island Nets).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of MAAC Tournament in 2018. He was also voted All-MAAC Defensive Player of the Year back in 2019.
