The list of other players, who all have DR Congolese passport but never been selected to any of DR Congolese national teams: #1. Viny Okouo (215-C-97, currently plays in Spain) could not help Gipuzkoa (7-26) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Gipuzkoa lost 83-91 on the road to the much higher-ranked (#8) La ICL Manresa. Okouo had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 11 rebounds in 31 minutes. It was Gipuzkoa's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Okouo averages: 9.5ppg and 5.3rpg in 33 games he played so far. #2. Bismack Biyombo (206-PF-92, currently plays in NBA) led Charlotte Hornets to a victory against the Orlando Magic (21-47) 122-112 in the NBA last Friday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Biyombo also added 2 blocks. The Charlotte Hornets have 33-35 record this season. There are only four games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Biyombo averages: 5.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2bpg. #3. Experienced Wen Boss Mukubu (198-SF-83, college: UAB, currently plays in Belgium) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Phoenix Brussels (4-21) crushing them 88-67 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Sunday night. He scored 10 points, had 5 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals in 26 minutes. Hubo Limburg United (14-11) is placed third in Group B. Mukubu's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. It's Mukubu's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 10.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.6spg in 23 games. Mukubu has a dual citizenship: DR Congolese and Belgian. #4. Henry Pwono (198-F-91, college: ECU, currently plays in Luxembourg) led Etzella to a victory over the league outsider Telstar (0-19) crushing them 96-54 in the Luxembourg Total League last Thursday. Pwono was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 17 rebounds. Pwono also added 3 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals in 33 minutes. BBC Etzella Ettelbruck (16-3) is placed first in the Total League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Pwono has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 21.5ppg, 11.1rpg, 3.5apg and 2.0spg in 19 games. Pwono is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in DR Congo. #5. Charles Kahudi (199-SF-86, currently plays in France) managed to help ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket to win against the 13th-ranked Chorale de Roanne (9-15) 101-93 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Tuesday night. Kahudi recorded only 2 points. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (17-3) is placed second in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Kahudi's sixth season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 6.6ppg and 2.4rpg. Kahudi is another player who holds two passports: DR Congolese and French. #6. David Efambe (201-F-1, currently plays in Spain) was the main contributor in an Ilerdauto Nissan Pardinyes Lleida's victory against the third-ranked Zornotza 63-58 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Efambe scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. This year his overall stats are: 3.7ppg and 3.6rpg in 27 games. #7. Junior Etou (201-F-94, college: Tulsa, currently plays in France) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Quimper UJAP in their game against Sluc Nancy in the French ProB (second division). Etou scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes. His team lost 50-62. This year Etou's overall stats are: 9.7ppg and 5.4rpg in 22 games. #8. L'Hassane Niangane (208-C-94, college: Gardner-Webb, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Dax-Gamarde (8-15) in their last game. Despite his good performance Dax-Gamarde (#11) was edged 91-88 at home by the leading Tours in the Group A. Niangane recorded 12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 35 minutes. This year Niangane's overall stats are: 4.0ppg and 3.5rpg in 23 games. He has both DR Congolese and French nationalities.
