Embalo re-signs at Oliveirense

U.D. Oliveirense (Liga Betclic) confirmed in their roster 24-year old double-passport holder Cape Verdean power forward Joao Embalo (201cm-2001, agency: Promo Sport ID) for season 2025-26. He has played there for the last two seasons and helped them to win the cup.
Embalo has played previously for four other teams: Povoa, Clube Basket Quelez U23 team, Basket Queluz U18 team, and CD Povoa B team.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com Portuguese 1.Divisao All-Domestic Players Team in 2020.
