China outgun Cape Verde in Trento

China overcame Cape Verde at the start of the Trento international friendly tournament. Yongxi Cui (196-G-2003) came up with 18 points to lead the Asian powerhouse.
China grabbed a 19-15 lead after ten minutes. They stretched the margin at 7-point mark at the interval 36-29. China kept mounting the pressure in the second half. They erupted for 26 points to gain a 17-point lead. They poured in 24 points in the fourth stanza and raced to the victory. Shuo Fang (189-PG-1990) notched 11 points for China. Ivan Almeida (198-SF-1989, college: Stonehill) answered with 20 points for Cape Verde.
