Mindelo Monstro claim League title

Mindelo Monstro celebrated League title in Cape Verde. They swept Achada Panthers in the championship series. Mindelo Montro claimed a comfortable 86-64 victory in Game 1. Amarilson Lopes (205-C-1995) led the winners with 20 points. Julius Chamble (193-F/G, college: CIU) added 17 points for the winners. Fabio Rodrigues (190-G) came up with 21 points, while Marcos Gomes (197-F) added 11 points for the Panthers.
Mindelo Monstro secured the trophy after a 77-69 road win in Game 2. Amarilson Lopes was unstoppable with 30 points for the champions. Julius Chamble added 16 points for the Monstro. Marcos Gomes notched 23 points for the Panthers.
