Keven Gomes

FC Porto (Liga Betclic) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old naturalized Cape Verdean 208cm center Keven Gomes for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Porto as he has played here before. Gomes played most recently at Imortal (Liga Betclic). In 30 games he recorded 4.2ppg and 3.1rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final.
Gomes was voted to Eurobasket.com Portuguese Proliga All-Imports Team back in 2016 and 2017.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Lusitania where in 28 Liga Betclic games he averaged 6.2ppg and 3.8rpg in that year.
He represented Portugal at the Afrobasket Championship in Rades (Tunisia) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 0.7ppg, 1.0rpg.
Gomes has played previously for Portuguese team Dragon Force.
