Defending champion KB Teuta Durres (Superliga) strengthened their roster with addition of American 190cm guard Nasir Core (college: FAMU). Core played last summer at Ach.Grande in Cape Verdean Praia League. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
Core graduated from Florida A&M University in 2020 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
