Mahamadou Kante paces Mali over Cape Verde in Day 2 of the 2023 World Cup African Qualifiers. He nailed 12 points as Mali posted a 54-28 win.
Mali took a 17-12 lead at the start, whilst Cape Verde replied with an 18-16 run in the second quarter. Moreover, they added a 19-14 rally in the third quarter, however failed in the last stanza due to free throw shooting. Mali closed the game with a final 17-9 surge to seal the win.
