2021 AfroBasket Qualifiers: Egypt cruise past Cape Verde to stay perfect

Egypt remained unbeaten at the 2021 AfroBasket Qualifiers. They stormed past Cape Verde in Monastir tonight to improve at 4-0 record atop of Group E. Youssef Aboushousha (192-G/F-93) finished with 16 points in the victory.
Egypt jumped off to an early lead. They accumulated a 22-13 advantage after ten minutes of action. Egypt maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. They built a 38-29 halftime advantage. Egypt extended the margin at 12-point mark at the final intermission. They erupted for 40 points in the fourth term and coasted to the victory. Yusuf Shehata (175-PG, college: PLNU) notched 14 points in the win. Shane Da Rosa replied with 13 points for Cape Verde.
