Jalan McCloud

Kriol Star (Praia League) signed 30-year-old American 180cm point guard Jalan McCloud (college: ETSU, agency: Helping Ballers) for the upcoming season. He last played at CD Povoa in Portuguese Liga Betclic. In 9 games, he averaged an impressive 16.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 5.7apg, and 1.3spg last season. He also had a pre-season stint at Berck/Rang du Fliers (NM1) in the French league.
McCloud is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Estonia (Tartu), France, Germany (Kirchheim Knights), Kosovo (Bashkimi), United Kingdom (Flyers) and The Basketball Tournament (Bucketneers).
In 2023, McCloud's team reached the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League Semifinals. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2018 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. McCloud played for other colleges like Texas Southern University and Blinn College.
