Urunani Basketball Club clinch National League title

Urunani Basketball Club celebrated victory in the Burundi National championship. They held off New Stars 50:45 in the Final. Urunani advanced into the title game following a 57:50 victory over Muzinga in the semis. New Stars paved their way into the main game following a 78:52 rout of Dynamo. Elvis Hakizimana (85) became the top scorer for the tournament. Willy Nijimbere was pronounced the MVP.
