EWE Baskets Oldenburg (BBL) added to their roster 23-year old Beninese point guard Ralph Hounnou (193cm-87kg-2002) for season 2025-26. Hounnou is not a newcomer in German League as he played last season at Phoenix Hagen in the ProA. In 40 games he recorded 4.2ppg and 1.1rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The most of previous (2023-24) season he spent at MBC. But in 23 BBL games he averaged just 1.7ppg in that year. Hounnou also played for Sixers (ProB) where in only one game he had very impressive stats: 18 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in that year.
He has played previously for six other teams: EnBW Ludwigsburg, Dragons Rhoendorf, Ludwigsburg, Schwabing, Ludwigsburg and BBA Ludwigsburg U18 team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Regionalliga South-East Honorable Mention back in 2020.
