Sam Burt (ex Stockolmo) joins Elan Coton

Elan Coton BBC (Pro-League 1) agreed terms with 30-year old USA-Hungarian forward Sam Burt (201cm-93kg-1994, college: Fresno Pacific) for new 2024-25 season. He played last season at Stockolmo in Uruguayan Metropolitan. In only one game just recently he recorded 8 points and 2 rebounds. The last season he played at Snaefell (Division I) in Icelandic league. He also played for another Icelandic team Hrunamenn (Division I) in Icelandic league.
Burt is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Iceland, Italy (Chieti Magic) and Spain (Cantbasket).
Among many awards he played in the final of NJCAA D2 Region XIII in 2015. Burt was voted to All-PacWest Honorable Mention back in 2018.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Burt graduated from Fresno Pacific University in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: University of West Florida, Dakota County Technical College, Kankakee Community College.
