Victor Ezeh (193-F/G-2003) paced Nigeria past Benin in Treichville at the 2023 FIBA AfroCan Qualifiers. He nailed 21 points as Nigeria posted a 78-51 win to tie the records at 1-1. Benin won the opening period 15-10, however Nigeria took control in the second quarter with a 32-12 surge. They dominated the second half to seal the win. Ibe Agu (201-G-1997) netted 13 points and KanyiNsola Odufuwa (192-G-2001) as well as Wisdom Anyaoha (196-F-1998) added 8 each. Vivien Tossou (180-G-1993) replied with 14 points in the losing effort.
