Abidjan Basket Club clinched BAL Elite 16 ticket defeating Elan Coton BBC 89-56. The Ivory Coast team started with a 21-9 run and never looked behind. Moreover, Abidjan Basket Club posted victories in each quarter of the game to secure a total success. ABC closed the four-team qualifier with a perfect 3-0 record.
Jorge Ortiz (190-G-1989) top-scored for the winners with 16 points, whilst Mike Fofana (206-F-1997, college: HSU, agency: One Motive Sports) and Stephane Konate (191-SG-1980) added 15 points apiece. Camara Zamba contributed 12 points in the winning cause.
