Shizuoka keeps Dama for another season- May 23, 2020
The previous (2019) summer Dama played at Pichincha de Potosi in Bolivian league where in two Liga Sudamericana games he averaged 15.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0spg in 2019 season. Dama has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Dama has played previously professionally in France, Portugal (Galitos-Barreiro) and Spain (CB Prat). Among many awards Dama won Bolivian Libobasquet championship title in 2019. He received also Latinbasket.com All-Bolivian Libobasquet Honorable Mention award in 2019. He attended Eastern Illinois University until 2018 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Dama's game is described as: An explosive high energy forward. Jumping bean. Very HIGH ceiling... Has only been playing basketball for 5 years which makes him an exciting prospect with great potential. Muusa is the ultimate gym rat. Solid mechanics and nice touch from 15 feet out. High motor, and very adept at reading and reacting out of the pick and roll. Soft touch off his left shoulder, and nice secondary move with right foot drop-step. Loves the 21-position duck in, gets many easy baskets and alley-oops this way. By Eurobasket Data Center
