Benin 2010 25th ACCM: Royal Hoopers pipe ASO Modele to 9th place

Royal Hoopers basketball club of Nigeria Saturday defeated home boys ASO Modele basketball club of Republic of Benin by 76-66 points to place 9th over-all of the 25th Africa Champions Cup for Men.

Both sides ended the first quarter at 19 points apiece with the Hoopers trailing by one point at the close of the second quarter 12-13 points for a halftime score of 31-32 points. Royal Hoopers got the edge in the third and fourth quarters by 20-14 and 25-20 points to end the 2010 series of the competition at position ninth.

Royal Hoopers Musa Usman led the floor with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steal, Michael Ohiero recorded 16 points, forward Kingsley Aguara added 13 points and 8 rebounds while Ngowari BobManuel contributed 11 points and 3 rebounds for the Hoopers victory.
