Rather predictable result in Kampala where fifth rankedKIU Rangers (15-3) beat 9th ranked A1 Challenge (5-15) 76-60 on Sunday. KIU Rangers forced 22 A1 Challenge turnovers. Mary Amaniyo (180-2003) stepped up and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Racheal Nanyonga chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four KIU Rangers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Stella Kiberenge with 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Yaweh Precious (-1999) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for KIU Rangers . They moved-up to third place. A1 Challenge lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost.
