The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali:Patriots (#1) and Kepler (#5). Patriots (13-0) won against visiting Kepler (6-7) 84-77 . Patriots shot 23 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Kepler only scored seven points from the stripe. Patriots forced 23 Kepler turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Patriots made 10 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward William Perry (183-1994, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. International forward Furaha Cadeaux de Dieu (203-1998, college: UAFS) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Patriots and four Kepler players scored in double figures. Kepler's coach Juruni Lutwama rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Patriots have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-0 record. Newly promoted Kepler dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost.
