Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kigali:APR (#2) and Kepler (#6). Kepler was smashed at home by 16 points 73-89 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. APR forced 19 Kepler turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American power forward Dario Hunt (204-1989, college: Nevada) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Ntore Habimana (196-1997, college: Laurier) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five APR players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) replied with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Carlos Done (201-1997, college: Harford CC, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kepler. APR have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 10-1 record behind leader Patriots. Newly promoted Kepler dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Tigers.
