Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedGahini (2-6) was rolled over at home by fourth ranked Kepler (6-3) 69-50 on Friday. Kepler outrebounded Gahini 57-41 including 21 on the offensive glass. Kepler looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (-1995) who scored 18 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Nelly Akariza chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 19 rebounds. Four Kepler players scored in double figures. Josiane Ishimwe produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and Ange Uwiringiyimana added 11 points and 15 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Kepler maintains fourth position with 6-3 record. Loser Gahini dropped to the eighth place with six games lost.
