Very expected game when bottom-rankedUR BBC (0-8) was crushed on the road by third ranked GSMRR (7-2) 79-37 on Monday. GSMRR held UR BBC to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.5 percent accuracy of the winners. GSMRR forced 30 UR BBC turnovers and outrebounded them 54-38 including a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Brigitte Nibishaka (-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Marie Yamfashije (-2002) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. GSMRR's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Albright Mugabekazi produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Lucie Isingizwe (-2002) added 4 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. GSMRR maintains third position with 7-2 record behind leader APR. Loser UR BBC still closes the standings with eight games lost.
