NBL top team -KCCA Leopards (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed ninth ranked YMCA Hamstars (2-6) in Kampala 100-45 . KCCA Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to YMCA Hamstars ' 26 and had 26 for 44 from the free-throw line, while YMCA Hamstars only scored ten points from the stripe. KCCA Leopards forced 40 YMCA Hamstars turnovers and outrebounded them 53-29 including a 26-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. KCCA Leopards looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by YMCA Hamstars ' players. 28 personal fouls committed by YMCA Hamstars helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of Margaret Bagaala who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and Kazibwe Sylvester who added 8 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 9 steals during the contest. Rose Musundi responded with 16 points and Rose Wafula scored 4 points and 12 rebounds. KCCA Leopards have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. YMCA Hamstars lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the ninth place with six games lost. They share the position with A1 Challenge.
