Not a big story in a game in Luanda where bottom-rankedKwanza (0-18) was defeated by ninth ranked ASA (6-13) 92-82 on Friday. ASA forced 21 Kwanza turnovers and outrebounded them 67-46 including a 42-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Obed Kinkela who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Ludgero Galiza (197-1992) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Agostinho Alberto (-2003) who recorded 42 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and center Carlos Benedito added 7 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. ASA have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 6-13 record. Loser Kwanza still closes the standings.
