Regular Season Round 24: UCU Ladies - Miracle 67-58
Date: August 12, 2023
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: UCU Ladies (#3) and Miracle (#7). UCU Ladies (12-4) won against visiting Miracle (10-9) 67-58. The winners were led by the former international Bridget Aber (-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Tracy Namugosa supported her with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Even 8 points and 11 rebounds by forward Lillian Cherotich did not help to save the game for Miracle. Guard Eden Tekitendwa (-2000) added 10 points and 6 rebounds. UCU Ladies have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory UCU Ladies went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with KCCA Leopards.
