Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Kampala R. and 9th ranked JKL Dolphins had identical 4-11 record. But JKL Dolphins were not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Kampala 80-71 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Gideon Kasasa (-1998) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Francis Kasinde who added 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Kampala R. players scored in double figures. Denis Omara responded with 27 points and Austin Oduwour scored 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Kampala R. (5-11) moved-up to ninth place. JKL Dolphins lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Kampala R.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala UCU Canons.
