Very expected game in Kampala where 10th ranked Nabisunsa (4-13) was defeated by fifth ranked Miracle (9-7) 84-66 on Wednesday. Miracle dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Nabisunsa's 28. Miracle forced 33 Nabisunsa turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Guard Akello Winnifred (-2001) fired a triple-double by scoring 29 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Forward Brenda Alyano chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Darlene Tashobya (-2005) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Tamasha Nsubuga added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Miracle went down to sixth position due to points difference. Loser Nabisunsa keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. Miracle's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala JTL Jaguars.
