There was a minor upset when 8th ranked UPDF (4-10) lost on the road to tenth ranked Kampala R. (4-9) 75-68 on Saturday. Francis Kasinde notched 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Gideon Kasasa (-1998) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Four Kampala R. players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by Arthur Wanyoto did not help to save the game for UPDF. Swingman Andrew Gang (-1996) added 15 points and 8 rebounds. UPDF's coach let to play ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kampala R. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with KCCA P. UPDF lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Ndejje Angels and JKL Dolphins. Kampala R.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Blazers.
