No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Magic Stormers (10-4) beat 9th ranked A1 Challenge (4-11) in Kampala 59-49 on Wednesday. Magic Stormers forced 39 A1 Challenge turnovers and outrebounded them 40-24 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ruth Nambirige notched a triple-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and Kur Ajah supported her with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Even 10 points and 5 rebounds by Vivian Lusamamba did not help to save the game for A1 Challenge. Guard Yaweh Precious (-1999) added 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic Stormers maintains fourth position with 10-4 record. Loser A1 Challenge keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. Magic Stormers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Angels.
