Very expected game in Kampala where 10th ranked Nabisunsa (3-11) was rolled over by first ranked JTL Jaguars (12-3) 70-29 on Sunday. JTL Jaguars held Nabisunsa to an opponent 19.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners. JTL Jaguars forced 19 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 64-27 including a 24-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Nabisunsa's players. The former international forward Sarah Ageno (176) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and Angella Lokwameri chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four JTL Jaguars players scored in double figures. Guard Sarah Namale (-2005) responded with 8 points and 9 rebounds and forward Tamasha Nsubuga scored 6 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for JTL Jaguars. Newly promoted JTL Jaguars maintains first place with 12-3 record. Nabisunsa lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 11 games lost. JTL Jaguars' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena .
