Regular Season Round 17: UCU Canons - Our Saviour 67-66

The most exciting game of round 17 in the NBL took place in Kampala. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Our Saviour (7-6) to fourth ranked UCU Canons (9-4) 67-66 in the game for the fourth place. UCU Canons forced 24 Our Saviour turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Peter Sifuma (-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Rogers Dauna (196-2000) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Malual Dier produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. UCU Canons maintains fourth place with 9-4 record. Our Saviour at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. UCU Canons' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Ndejje Angels.
