Leader JTL Jaguars delivered the twelfth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Nkumba LM (0-13) 74-31 in Kampala. JTL Jaguars held Nkumba LM to an opponent 17.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.2 percent accuracy of the winners. JTL Jaguars forced 21 Nkumba LM turnovers and outrebounded them 55-34 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. JTL Jaguars looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Nkumba LM's players. Angella Lokwameri stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 assists for the winners and the former international forward Sarah Ageno (176) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). JTL Jaguars' coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Isabella Namugabo responded with 7 points and 9 rebounds and Pennitah Nabakooza scored 4 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for JTL Jaguars. Newly promoted JTL Jaguars maintains first place with 12-3 record. Nkumba LM lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. JTL Jaguars' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena .
