Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: JTL Jaguars (#1) and Kampala Uni (#8). Kampala Uni was smashed at home by 67 points 27-94 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. JTL Jaguars held Kampala Uni to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.4 percent accuracy of the winners. JTL Jaguars forced 32 Kampala Uni turnovers and outrebounded them 66-34 including a 29-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. JTL Jaguars players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Kampala Uni's players. The winners were led by the former international forward Sarah Ageno (176) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and Angella Lokwameri supported her with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Four JTL Jaguars players scored in double figures. JTL Jaguars' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 6 points and 10 rebounds by guard Hanifah Namuli (-2002) did not help to save the game for Kampala Uni. Orlando Marion added 6 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. JTL Jaguars have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory JTL Jaguars went down to second position due to points difference. Kampala Uni at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. JTL Jaguars' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Nabisunsa.
