We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Kampala where 8th ranked UPDF (4-8) was defeated by ninth ranked JKL Dolphins (4-8) 70-57 on Saturday. JKL Dolphins made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 UPDF turnovers. Austin Oduwour fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Denis Omara chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Ferdinand Odama (-1995) produced 11 points and 4 assists and Felix Mukunzi (193-1995) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. UPDF's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. JKL Dolphins moved-up to seventh place, which they share with UPDF and KCCA P. JKL Dolphins' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KIU Titans.
