No shocking result in a game when second ranked JKL Dolphins (9-2) crushed 9th ranked Nabisunsa (3-8) in Kampala 80-48 on Wednesday. JKL Dolphins dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Nabisunsa's 38. JKL Dolphins forced 38 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 58-44 including 25 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Brenda Ekone (152-1996) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. Christine Namulumba accounted for 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Tamasha Nsubuga came up with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and guard Sarah Namale (-2005) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Nabisunsa in the defeat. Nabisunsa's coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for JKL Dolphins. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with JTL Jaguars. Loser Nabisunsa keeps the ninth place with eight games lost.
