Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Kampala: KIU Titans (#2) and JKL Dolphins (#8). KIU Titans (8-2) won against visiting JKL Dolphins (3-7) 59-44. KIU Titans held JKL Dolphins to an opponent 21.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.3 percent accuracy of the winners. KIU Titans had a 43-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for DR Congolese center Amisi Saidi (200) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Peter Obleng (190-2003) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. KIU Titans' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Joseph Dramaza came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Gideon Eotu (-2001) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for JKL Dolphins in the defeat. KIU Titans have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 8-2 record having four points less than leader City Oilers. JKL Dolphins lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost.
