Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: JTL Jaguars (#1) and Kampala Uni (#8). JTL Jaguars (9-2) smashed visiting Kampala Uni (3-7) by 32 points 82-50. JTL Jaguars forced 24 Kampala Uni turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kampala Uni's players. Guard Brenda Kayaga orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Angella Lokwameri contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. JTL Jaguars' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mercy Batamuliza replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 21 rebounds and guard Hanifah Namuli (-2002) added 20 points and 5 steals in the effort for Kampala Uni. Newly promoted JTL Jaguars maintains first position with 9-2 record. Kampala Uni at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. JTL Jaguars' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala .
